About the client:
Kingston is a familiar name in Brunei and is one of the leading distributors of FMCG products in the market since the late 70’s. They are also the manufacturer of the local brand, Kingston ice cream. In 2019, we won the pitch against other creative companies and were treated to a couple of their ice cream products!
About the project:
We were taken back to our childhood memories when they brought back the Push Up Ice Cream. An old school and an all-time favourite! For this, we had to create a promotional poster to promote the come back and to introduce a new flavour too. The concept for this poster design was fun, vibrant and youthful. Also included in the work scope is photography, and this was the fun bit where everyone at our playground was treated to a boxful of the ice cream.
Another treat for us was when were assigned to come up with the packaging design of the Prestige Limited Edition Kurma flavor. This was a brand new flavor and also the first for this line, to commemorate the festive season of Ramadhan and Hari Raya. So the concept was for the packaging to have a regal with a hint of arabesque look, to give it a more festive vibe. This limited edition flavour packaging also featured the refreshed Kingston logo, which we also did (but more on that on another time).
The highlight of our experience working on this project is when our team got an ice cream tour where we witnessed the intricate process of ice cream making. We even got to sample the ice cream on the spot!
