MMW Presents MIXEL+ to Ministry of Health
Local creative company Mixmediaworx (MMW) has provided one unit of contactless hand-sanitising dispenser Mixel+ to the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday. The device which is a new product under the agency’s Mixel brand is placed at the main lobby of the ministry’s building in Berakas in a bid to encourage good hand hygiene habits.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MMW Michelle Lo said that it is the first of its kind to be lent to a ministry.
“We wanted MoH to be the first and we are looking to expand to other ministerial buildings with Ministry of Education potentially next. It is on loan for free and we do the maintenance for them,” she said, adding that the CSR initiative seems encouraging.
The auto-dispenser will release an ample amount of readily-stored hand sanitiser liquid or foam inside the device by placing hands near the motion sensor at the bottom of the unit.
Moreover, the Mixel+ also comes with a built-in high-definition digital screen, displaying up-to-date information, notice, BruHealth QR codes as well as other static or video content.
It also has a built-in speaker for clear audio and WiFi for easy internet access, not a typical hand-sanitising dispenser.
“It is also to introduce to the public there is such device. Although there are a lot of automated hand sanitising dispensers but they do not come in this form because it is a digital device – it has a digital screen, a stand and can be wall-mounted,” said Lo.
On hand to present the device to the health ministry’s Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) Dr Haji Zulaidi Hj Abd Latif was MMW’s Chief Creative Officer Hamdi Matussin.
Mixel+ is currently available for purchase or rental from MMW. For more details about the device visit their website at mmwcreative.com or call their business development managers directly.
